The “Archivio Storico Zenato” wine project was created to celebrate a history of dedication, care and passion, which has led to worldwide recognition of Zenato’s name as a synonym for excellence and an identity style of a one of a kind land: Valpolicella.
From the oldest vines, in the highest and best-exposed part of the Tenuta Costalunga vineyard, in a soil rich in marl from which the roots of the plants, reach deep down, obtain minerals, comes the Amarone 2008 Archivio Storico Zenato.
A vintage that rested for a decade in large oak barrels and that represents for us the most inner expression of our Love for Amarone. The milestone of this project that underscores the bond to a land in which we have believed and invested since the very beginning.

This wine has a deep ruby red color, evolving toward garnet hues as the years go by. Its bouquet is intense and fruity, with clear notes of cherry, morello cherry and small berries, enhanced by spicy tones. Warm richness and great structure are evident on the palate.
With this label we want to celebrate our great passion, insight and values that have led us to become ambassadors of Italian excellence all over the world.
